Shopping List
- 1 bag of egg noodles
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 cans Cream of Celery soup
- 1 package pre-cut mushrooms
- 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
- bread crumbs
- 1 lb. boneless chicken strips
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Start boiling the egg noodles according to directions on packaging
- When the noodles are done, drain and set to the side
- Cube chicken and boil in chicken broth
- Pour noodles into the bottom of the casserole dish
- Add chicken on top of the noodles
- Add some of the shredded cheese to the mixture
- Add the mushrooms
- Pour in the milk
- Add the 2 cans of soup
- Add about 1/2 a cup of the chicken broth used to boil the chicken (optional)
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs
- Place in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes
- Remove from the oven and serve
