Ingredients
- 4 carrots, grated
- 4 apples, peeled and grated
- 4 tbsp. liquid coconut oil or coconut oil, melted
- 4 tbsp. organic maple syrup
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Optional Toppings
- unsweetened coconut flakes
- pecans, chopped
- raisins
Instructions
- Place carrots and apples to a large mixing bowl.
- Add coconut oil, maple syrup, and cinnamon; stir until the salad is thoroughly coated.
- Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
- Serve immediately or let marinate in the refrigerator overnight to enjoy the next day!
