Presto Primavera
A good way to use that leftover ham - adapted from www.delmonte.com
Ingredients:
- 6oz. uncooked Barilla pasta (spirals, macaroni, or penne)
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) DEL MONTE ® Diced Tomatoes with Garlic & Onion
- 1 can (8-1/2 oz.) DEL MONTE ® Sweet Peas, drained
- 1 can (8 oz.) DEL MONTE ® Cut Green Beans, drained
- 1 can (8-1/4 oz.) DEL MONTE ® Sliced Carrots, drained
- 2 cups chopped cooked ham
Directions:
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain
- Heat tomatoes and vegetables in large saucepan while pasta is cooking add ham
- Mix in pasta and heat through
- Season to taste with salt and pepper
- Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired
Yields:
Approximately 2 cups of dip or 10 2oz servings
