Mario's Bow-Tie Pasta with Tuna & Olives
Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup Bertolli olive oil
- 2 T minced garlic
- 1 Medium onion, cut in slivers
- 10-20 Cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 Can (3.8 Oz.) Mario sliced ripe olives
- 1/4 Cup Mario salad green olives
- 1/4 Cup capers
- 2 Cans Bumble Bee Solid White Tuna in water, drained
- 2 T Bertolli olive oil
- 1 Pkg. Barilla Farfalle pasta
- (bow-tie pasta), cooked al-dente
Directions:
Heat oil in large pot over medium-low heat. Add garlic, onion, tomatoes and capers and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until mixture thickens. Add olives and tuna and reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5 minutes. In a large serving bowl, toss cooked pasta with remaining olive oil. Add sauce mixture and toss gently to coat.
