Watermelon Pops

Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced watermelon (seedless or with seeds removed
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or sucralose/Splenda)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice

Directions

In a food processor or blender, puree fruit, sugar, and lemon or lime juice until smooth. Pour into a shallow metal pan and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Break the frozen fruit into pieces with a fork and place in a food processor. Process until slushy. Pour the mixture into eight 3-oz paper cups and cover the cups with aluminum foil. Insert a wooden treat stick in the center through the foil. Freeze until solid.

To serve, remove the foil and peel cups from smoothie pop.
