Neverland Cookies

Neverland Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teasp. baking powder
  • 1 teasp. baking soda
  • 1 teasp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (about 14 oz.) Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Fleischmann's Stick Margarine, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 bag (12 oz.) white morsels (about 2 cups)
  • 1 jar (6.5 oz.) macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped (about 1 1/3 cups)
  • 2 teasp. vanilla

Directions:

1. Blend the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a small bowl; set aside. Place peanut butter, margarine, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

2. Beat butter-sugar mixture until creamy with an electric mixer. Add eggs and mix until well blended. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts.

3. Drop batter by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 15-16 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack and cool completely.
