Apple Raisin Crunch

Shopping List:

  • Vegetable spray
  • 2 lbs. tart apples
  • Sun Maid golden raisins
  • orange juice
  • oatmeal
  • wheat germ
  • cinnamon
  • Country Crock quarters

Optional:

  • Healthy Choice No Sugar Added Vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Lbs. Tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced (about 5-1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 C Sun Maid golden raisins
  • 1/2 C Florida orange juice
  • 1/2 C Oatmeal
  • 1/2 C Toasted wheat germ
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 4 Tbs. Country Crock margarine
  • Optional: Healthy Choice No Sugar Added Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 8x8 baking pan with vegetable spray. Arrange apples and raisins in baking pan and pour orange juice over top. Set aside. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients and stir well. Distribute mixture over fruits. Bake 40-50 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. (Optional: serve with scoop of vanilla ice cream)
