ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- (February 11, 2005) -- Ingles Markets, Incorporated (NASDAQ: IMKTE) announced today that it has filed its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended September 25, 2004, and amended Forms 10-Q for the first three quarters of fiscal 2004. As was previously announced, the filing of the Form 10-K was delayed due to an internal investigation and the restatement of certain prior financial statements. The Form 10-K, filed at the end of the day on February 10, 2005, includes restated financial statements for the Company’s 2002 and 2003 fiscal years.
