H1N1 vaccine administration may be subject to availability, age restrictions and prioritization based on those with highest risk of complications from influenza. Priorities will be determined following the guidance of state, local or from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Please see your local pharmacy for more information.



The CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has identified the following priority groups to receive the H1N1 (Swine) flu vaccine as soon as possible:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children from 6 months - 18 years of age
  • Young Adults from 19 years - 24 years of age
  • Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have chronic health conditions that are associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza
  • Household contacts and caregivers for children under the age of 6 months
  • Healthcare workers who have direct patient contact
