Dining on the Road - Is it SNACK time yet???

You're driving along with your kids in the car and they are clamoring for a snack to eat. Instead of feeding them candy, chips, or fast food pull into an Ingles store and stock up on some healthy snack options. That way you can keep driving without the kids driving YOU crazy.
- Fresh fruit - apples, grapes, and bananas are usually kid favorites.
- Vegetables - mini carrots or cut up items from the salad bar will be satisfyingly crunchy
- Dried fruit - mini boxes of Sun Maid raisins
- Pretzels
- 100% juice in boxes or grab and go containers
- Ready made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from the freezer section.
- Milk - chocolate or white it will give your kids calcium for those growing bones
- String cheese
- Water - Dannon Fluoridated water to prevent cavities or Le Nature flavored water with no sweeteners.
